This ewer is a new demonstration of Nicolas Marischaël's talent with shapes and textures. The ewer is comprised of two spheres connected by a solid silver handle sheathed in shagreen, seeming like two tiny hovering planets. Once more, the artisan challenges himself to defy the laws of physics and create an eerie sense of balance.
The piece is held together by its base structure, which also serves as its spout. The shagreen sheathing was done by Serge Amoruso. Its tint can be selected from a broad range of hues.
